Respek Yang Dirasakan dan “Voice” Yang Konstruktif: Mekanisme Dari Mood Positif dan Keyakinan Seseorang Atas Kendali

Abstract

Penelitian ini berupaya menjelaskan bagaimana: (1) hubungan perspective taking (PT) dan respek yang dirasakan; (2) hubungan respek yang dirasakan dan keyakinan seseorang atas kendali; (3) hubungan keyakinan seseorang atas kendali dan “voice” yang konstruktif; (4) hubungan respek yang dirasakan dan mood positif; (5) hubungan mood positif dan “voice” yang konstruktif. Dengan memanfaatkan sampel dari pegawai yang bekerja pada institusi pemerintahan di dua provinsi di Indonesia dan menggunakan analisis SEM-PLS, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa respek yang dirasakan oleh individu ditempat kerja dapat mendorong tingkat keyakinan individu atas kendali (control belief). Selanjutnya, keyakinan individu atas kendali dapat mendorong mereka untuk terlibat di dalam perilaku “voice” yang konstruktif. Selain itu, respek yang dirasakan oleh inidvidu di tempat kerja dapat menimbulkan mood positif ketika mereka berada di tempat kerja. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa mood positif yang dirasakan oleh individu ditempat kerja dapat mendorong mereka terlibat didalam perilaku “voice” yang konstruktif. Sementara itu, individu yang melakukan perspective taking cenderung mendapatkan respek yang tinggi dari rekan kerjanya
